A Little About Me

Hey there, everyone! I'm Kristen, the proud owner and photographer behind Kristen's Captures. Let me take a moment to share a little bit about myself. When I was just 10 years old, my incredible mother passed down her beloved 1980 Pentax K1000 camera and introduced me to the magical world of photography. From that moment on, I've been inseparable from my camera, capturing life's beautiful moments.

For as long as I can remember, I've always felt a deep connection with being behind the lens. There's something truly special about freezing those in-between moments—the genuine, heartfelt interactions between you and your loved ones. These moments are yours and yours alone, and it is my passion to preserve them for eternity.

Photography holds a special place in my heart as it offers me a profound means of expressing my love for the art form. Through the lens of my camera, I am able to capture the moments and subjects that we tend to overlook or take for granted in our everyday lives.
