Mt. Rainier Through My Eyes

I have never experienced anything quite like this. A week surrounded by some of the most breathtaking landscapes I’ve ever seen—where towering peaks touched the sky, wildflowers stretched endlessly across the valleys, and the air felt fresher than anywhere I’ve ever been.

I hiked 9.5 miles, climbing 3,000 feet in elevation, pushing myself further than I thought I could—only to be rewarded with a view so surreal it barely felt real. I stood on the edge of the world, looking out over rugged ridges, deep blue lakes, and an endless stretch of untouched wilderness.

I watched wildlife in their natural habitat, moving freely through the land as if I weren’t even there. I breathed in the crisp mountain air, letting it fill me with something new each time. I sat by rivers so clear and blue they looked unreal, feeling the cold mist on my skin as the water rushed past.

But more than the sights, more than the adventure, this trip was about presence. About truly soaking in every moment—the stillness, the movement, the way nature makes you feel small in the best possible way.

I needed this. The challenge, the beauty, the reminder that life is meant to be lived—fully and deeply. And I already can’t wait for the next adventure.
